Anand Deshpande boasts an impressive 32-year career spanning various creative fields. He began his professional journey as a graphic designer, dedicating seven years to the print media industry where he honed his skills in visual communication and design. Seeking to expand his expertise, Anand transitioned into web design and development, contributing his talents to notable organizations such as IOMC, IUCN, and IPR (WHO & UN). His portfolio includes the interactive website for the Portland Cement Association, an engaging presentation of the Future Cab for John Deere, an AV presentation for Ramoji Film City, a digital interactive curriculum for Whistling Wood International, and interactive games for Navneet Publication.
In addition to his prowess in graphic and web design, Anand has made significant strides in the field of animation. He has worked on prestigious projects including Disney’s “Higglytown Heroes” and Channel 4’s “Multi-coloured Jackal.” His work on “The Bad Egg” earned the Digicon International Award in Japan and a Gold Medal at the New York Festival in 2007. Anand also contributed to the feature film “Krishna aur Kans,” showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence in animation.
Since 2009, Anand has been a co-founder of design2hues, a digital media agency specializing in web design and development, AV presentations, and graphic design. Embracing modern web technologies, he has been utilizing WordPress since 2012 to deliver dynamic and user-friendly websites. Holding a science degree, Anand combines his technical background with his creative talents to drive innovative solutions. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys birding and bird photography, reflecting his appreciation for nature and attention to detail.
