WordCamp Nagpur is now accepting speaker applications.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speakers are at the core of every WordCamp providing a chance to be involved. We\u2019re looking for talks on a variety of topics to cover different stages of the WordPress journey from beginner to expert.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Talks &amp; Workshop for all skill levels will be considered, and a presentation on things you learned setting up your very first website can be just as valuable as a technical walk-through of how custom fields are implemented within WordPress.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-background has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WordCamp Nagpur speaker applications was closed on Sunday 30th June 2019. Schedule will be published Shortly.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once submissions close, the selection process will commence and we\u2019ll contact everyone as soon as possible via email to confirm details once our voting has been finalised.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Topics<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All topics should be related to WordPress. At previous WordCamps\u2019 we\u2019ve had talks on WordPress development, copywriting, blogging, design, marketing, business, and SEO. We do not require you to be famous, or a \u201cguru\u201d, or have a special certification, all we ask is that you be able to present your chosen topic passionately and respectfully.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do have some general guidelines for talks, though, and here they are: Your talk should be\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>directly related to WordPress, or immediately applicable and relevant to our audience<\/li>\r\n<li>respectful of the WordPress community, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/2019.nagpur.wordcamp.org\/code-of-conduct\/\">WordCamp code of conduct<\/a>, and the GPL<\/li>\r\n<li>something that interests you, that you want to share!<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Event Details<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Talks will be <strong>20<\/strong> minutes in length. Followed by 10 to 15 minutes of Q&amp;A.<\/li>\r\n<li>Talks will be on <strong>Sunday, 11th August 2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<li>We plan to record all the talks and post the videos to WordPress.tv.
