How WordCamp Nagpur 2018 is different than 2017

WordCamp is Casual gathering for WordPress Users. Every WordCamp is different and has its charm. We don’t need to compare it with another camp in Country. But for Local Organizing Team there always scope for better organising and management in the Second version of camp in the city.

So while we were planning 2018 WordCamp, We intended not to repeat the mistakes we made last year and Some new experiments as follows.

1. ONE Day Camp with Three Tracks
This year, we compressed the schedule to One day, adding one more track to the Camp making room for more knowledge sharing.

2. Tracks have no name
Last year, we had Developer Track, and User Track and people remained on the chair. We want you to move, network, interact. This year, topics will be moving from Room 1 to Room 2 to Room 3., so if you’re going to Attend Dev topics, you are not playing Game of Thrones, move to another room.

3. We don’t have Repeat Speakers
Speaking at WordCamp is Completely voluntary. Last year we had a great line up of speakers sharing knowledge and experiences. This year we have All new Faces to communicate and learn from them. Some of the last year speakers will be at Camp helping Nagpur community.

4. We have Help Desk at Nagpur
Help Desk, known as Happiness bar in most of WordCamp. Help Desk will be in Networking Area of WordCamp Nagpur. If you have any query regarding your Blog, Site, Theme, Plugin, then WordCamp Helpdesk is the place you are looking.

5. Introducing Birds of Feather – BoF
Some topics usually get boring when the Panel discussion goes haywire. So we planned to have All of you in one Room with a Moderator and have a friendly conversation on it. Throw your queries, and you have a person next to you to respond it.

6. Networking Area just got Bigger
We got a significantly big networking area between Room 1, Room 2, Room 3 and Food area. Which includes sponsor desk, Networking tables, and fantastic Photobooth with some amazing contest to win.

We are excited to host WordCamp Nagpur 2018, let us know what you think about this plan. If you haven’t grabbed your ticket, we got some discounts too.
