While we are accepting applications for sessions and workshops at WordCamp Nagpur 2018, here are some topics that we received and kept them for Panel instead of Talk or Workshop.

We are not sure about having following topics in the schedule, but we find them worth sharing and discussing with all of you. Your Inputs on them are most welcome.

1. Work Culture in WordPress ecosystem & Nagpur
Nagpur has witnessed various Work Culture in past two decades. Many agencies, freelancers, design studios and startup in Nagpur uses WordPress as a day-to-day tool. Whereas change in working culture is always expected to everyone. Nomad/Remote/CoWorking are few of the trending changes.

Discussion between People from diverse background like Remote Employee, Startup, Human Resource Manager, Freelancer can help people to understand Pain and gain of every shoe on the panel.

2. Can this be done with WordPress?
WordPress powers 30% of Web, there are hardly any scenarios on the web where you can’t use WordPress. But there is always a doubt about using WordPress for Custom Scenario.

This will be a discussion among people who crafted creative use case with WordPress, Developers, and Product Managers. The Panelist will explain whether you should implement a complex scenario with WordPress or Not.

3. Rebranding Cities
Current Government visioned about creating several small IT Hubs in the country, generating jobs for people near their home. WordPress business does contribute a share to the local economy and rebranding the city.

Discussion between Influencer(Blogger / Vlogger), Business people & Freelancers from Tier 2 and Tier 3 city will help people to focus on peaceful hometown life rather than focusing on Life in a Metro.

4. Choosing Right Web Hosting – Myth Busting
During various meetups in Nagpur, Web hosting queries are always long discussion point.

Discussion between People from various web hosting background like Shared, VPS, Cloud, Managed to help bloggers/users to understand the basics of these types of Hosting will be good to know for attendees.

5. WordPress in Education
Despite WordPress is commonly used for publishing bits of knowledge, WordPress is widely used in Academics.

The discussion between LMS Practitioners, Students and teachers will explore possibilities of the way of teaching and learning.

As already mentioned we may not incorporate all these awesome discussions in Schedule but would love to know what things should be covered in these panels.

We are officially accepting applications for sessions and workshops at WordCamp Nagpur 2018.

If you love WordPress, enjoy being a part of the community then join us! WordCamps are fun, community-organized, casual events and it’s a great experience for everyone.

We’re expecting nearly 400 attendees with a wide range of experience and interests. All session will be recorded and posted to WordPress.tv.

Session Overview
Sessions will be 30 minutes long with 10 minutes of Q&A. We’re currently looking for talks related to the topics that people are expecting though other topics are welcome.

Workshop Overview
A workshop will be two hours long. We’re currently looking for workshop related to the topics that people are expecting, though other topics are welcome.

Required Qualifications
You are not expected to be a professional speaker, but you must know what you’re talking about. We’ll be selecting speakers based on how timely, relevant and useful the topic is.
