What is WordPress Help Desk

  • For First-timers:
    WordPress Help Desk is a desk at a WordCamp staffed by volunteer WordPress experts where you can ask questions and get help with WordPress.
  • For Serial WordCampers:
    Yes, it’s Happiness Bar. As you may know, I’ve been a volunteer at the Happiness Bar to various WordCamps in the last five years. The experience of interacting with and helping others working with WordPress has been educational, entertaining, and often enlightening. But people don’t understand what “Happiness Bar” is. So just trying changing Name of Happiness bar.

Who is Best Fit for WordPress Help Desk Facilitator?

  • If you have prior experience of Helping People with using WordPress, then you are best fit for this Role.
  • If you are comfortable in communication, Specially Hindi or Marathi that will be Addon as its more comfortable to understand things in Native languages.

What is Contributor Day
Contributor day is to foster the love for Open Source. Learn how you can contribute to WordPress.

On Sunday 22nd, 2018, We have Contributor Day. While Organizing team will be busy with managing logistics, we need your Help to team up and teach various Ways of Contributing to WordPress.

Who is Best Fit for Contributor Day Facilitator?
If you have participated in make.wordpress.org and you can help people understand how to contribute to any team. Then you are the best fit.

WordCamp Nagpur 2017 Team was featured in WordPress Jingle

Last year at WordCamp Denver 2017, Zack Katz From GravityView spoke about the future of WordPress in the keynote talk. At the end of his talk, he introduced the music video “WordPress is People (Do The WordPress Wiggle)” the amazing piece of music.

It was a moment of glory for WordCamp Nagpur 2017 Team to be featured in WordPress Jingle, thus can’t stop me from sharing it.

Things Happened in Nagpur Community Post WCNagpur 2017

The Sole objective of WordCamp in the city is to boost the growth of the community in Local Vicinity.

At the beginning of WordCamp Nagpur 2017, we had 332 members in our Facebook group and 162 members of Meetup.com Group. now at the time of 2018 WordCamp, the numbers have changed to 692 & 493 respectively. Indeed these grown figures are good for the local community and growth of the city.

The Annual Conference is must have to boost the Open Source Enthusiasm, while many small activities do help us to build the strong bonding between people. Here is the list of those activities that Community Participated in Nagpur between these two WordCamp.

Why Networking over Sports Field?
Last year we noticed not every one like to party harder, people love to talk, network, go early to bed and rise early to continue there Athletic schedule even if travelling for Conference.

As Contributor day will be starting late around 11 AM. Because many like to party Harder and it is hard for them to wake up early on Sunday Morning.

Networking over Sports Field is for people who love to wake up early and enjoy the Morning fresh air on the sports field.

What’s the Plan for Networking Hour?
Nagpur is Known For Cricket, city got two international stadiums. we might plan for Cricket Match or Football match as it’s rainy season. Followed by Breakfast.

How are we planning to Manage teams?
It will be first come first basis, so quickly let us know about your interest.
